Shake Your Booty Maya, mental ray, Photoshop October 2005
The goal of this project was ambiguity. It takes neither side of the issue, it just IS.
This was based off a sketch by DELYA, which you can find HERE. Check out this GIF compraing the two.
Lit with two mentalray area lights on either side. No photons were used, only the area lights and Final Gathering. The image had to be rendered in layers because it was done at 6000x9000 resolution. HERE is a crappy wire shot from in Maya. HERE is a closeup of the headphones, and HERE is a closeup of the MP3 player.
